It's certainly no blowout, but most games I can build "up" to game-ending huge creatures several turns before my opponent can build "out" to enough thopters with buffs to end the game first. That being said, I'd pit my mono-green mana acceleration deck against thopters any day. For some reason, there is an awful lack of Trample in Green in the Duels Origins set, which makes Green even weaker than it usually is. In general, the counter to the artifacts "building horizontally" (lots of small creatures) is "building vertically". In general, artifacts are painful when there are many of them, and a lot of the best "artifact" cards aren't artifacts at all.
